1. About us
Hammer & Pixel is a website design business, a trading name of Revive Business Solutions Ltd registered in England and Wales. We build websites for UK roofing businesses. This policy explains how we handle personal data under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
2. What we collect
We collect only what we need:
- Enquiry data: when you contact us via WhatsApp, phone, email, or the form on this site, we collect your name, contact details, and whatever you tell us about your business.
- Outreach data: if you received an email from us, we have your name, business name, business email, and any publicly listed business contact details we sourced from open registers (Google Business Profile, Companies House, public website).
- Technical data: when you visit this site, basic technical information your browser sends (IP address, browser type, referring URL). We do not currently run third-party analytics on this site.
We do not collect special-category data and do not knowingly process data about children.
3. Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and, where appropriate, prepare a free design draft.
- To send you a small number of follow-up emails if you've shown interest in our services.
- To send a one-off outreach email to UK roofing businesses we believe could benefit from our services. Every email includes a clear opt-out. One reply or click and we remove you immediately.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Our legal basis is legitimate interests for outreach to business contacts (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) and PECR Reg. 22(2)), and consent or contract for everything else.
4. Who sees it
- Form submissions are processed by Web3Forms, our form-handling provider, before they reach our inbox.
- Email is hosted with our email provider.
- Site hosting is provided by Cloudflare.
- We never sell, rent, or share data with third parties for marketing.
5. How long we keep it
- Enquiry data: up to 24 months from the last contact, then deleted unless you become a client.
- Outreach data: up to 12 months from the first contact, then deleted unless you opt in.
- Client records: for the duration of the engagement and 6 years after, for tax and accounting purposes.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Ask what data we hold about you, and request a copy.
- Have inaccurate data corrected.
- Have your data deleted (where we don't have a legal obligation to keep it).
- Object to us processing your data, including being on our outreach list.
- Withdraw consent at any time.

If you're not happy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
7. Cookies
This site does not set any tracking cookies of its own. Embedded third-party services (WhatsApp, Cloudflare) may set their own cookies governed by their own privacy policies.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be flagged on our homepage.
