Roof repairs and maintenance
Active leak? On the phone within hours, tarped same-day if water's coming in, full fix booked in the same week. Storm damage, slipped tiles, lead flashing, chimney work. We handle the insurance paperwork for you.
Common repairs we handle
- Leak detection & repair. Finding the source (often not where it shows up inside) and fixing the underlying cause.
- Storm damage. High winds, fallen debris, lifted tiles. Insurance documentation and claim support included.
- Slipped or damaged tiles. Full colour match, blend with existing roof.
- Flashing repair. Chimneys, vents, walls. Common source of leaks.
- Valley repair. High-flow areas that wear faster than the rest of the roof.
- Soffit, fascia, and gutter repair. Water damage often shows here first.
- Tarping & emergency cover. Temporary protection for active leaks while we schedule the full repair.
- Storm follow-ups. Storm Eunice and Storm Henk both lifted ridge caps and tore lead aprons across Oxford. If a recent storm did damage, get a written report before the next one. Most insurers want documentation within two weeks.
Insurance claims
Storm damage often qualifies for insurance coverage. We document the damage, write a detailed scope, and work directly with your adjuster. We've handled claims for Oxford homeowners and can guide you through the process.
Most leaks don't sit still
Water that comes through a slipped tile this autumn typically reaches the plasterboard in two to four storms. The ceiling stain shows up over the next month, and the bedroom carpet beneath is the third thing to go. Catching it at the slipped-tile stage is a half-day fix. Catching it at the bedroom-ceiling stage adds plaster, decorating, and a contents claim if the furniture below is wrecked. The cost difference is usually an order of magnitude.
